I received my Ph.D. (2016) in Food Science and Technology from Chonbuk National University, Republic of Korea. I received M. Sc in Food Technology from Moscow State University of Applied Biotechnology, Moscow, Russia, and a Master of Public Health from Northern University Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I am Visiting Professor at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, from 2019 to till. I was Visiting Faculty at Kathmandu University from 2017 to 2018 and a Scientist at the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology from 2016 to 2017.

My interest is not only in the academic platform but also in social responsibilities like Youth, human rights, sustainable development, Environment, and Politics.

I am Vice President Nepali Janasampark Samiti (Nepali Public Relations Committee) Canada 2020- to now, President: School of Democracy Canada 2020 to now, President- Community Research, Empowerment, and Development Center (CRED Center)- 2018 to till, Representative of Thirteen National Convention of Nepali Congress-2016, Member Free (Elected) Student Union Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus-2007.

My research works collaborated with American, Canadian, South Korean, Nepalese, and Korean groups to date, and it’s expanding more.  Further, I have been invited and participated in more than 30 national and international conferences and workshops in the capacity of an advisory committee member, organizing committee member, and invited speaker. I have published around 14 research articles in international journals and hold 1 Korean patent.
